Rio 2 Days

"Dois Irmãos & Vidigal + Pedra do Telégrafo"

BOOK NOW

On this 2 Days trip in Rio we will take you on two amazing experiences: 2 Irmãos Hike and Pedra do Telégrafo Hike. At the higher section of Favela do Vidigal a 1 hour hike will take us to the summit of the 2 Irmãos Mountain, the breathtaking view that overlooks Leblon and Ipanema beaches. To get up there we will go through the curious and welcoming Favela of Vidigal. This community is one of the most positive examples of the local Favelas and offers some of the best views in Rio.

Day 2 is one of the most popular hikes among tourists. If you use social media and search for nice pictures in Rio, you have probably seen a picture where hikers appear to be dangerously hanging off a rock ledge into what looks like an enormous drop below. This is Pedra do Telégrafo! Luckily the drop is actually very small and the dangerous looks are all about perspectives.

Minas Adventure and Culture - 5 Days

"Tiradentes and Aiuruoca"

BOOK NOW

There are very few places in Brazil where the colonial architecture and picturesque natural setting blend so harmoniously as in Tiradentes. Quaint historic houses, fringed by exuberant wildflowers, stand out against a backdrop of the pretty blue mountains. Located at the foot of the Serra de São José, the city was just a mining camp in the early 18th century. With the proclamation of the Republic in 1889, the city was renamed Tiradentes, name of the martyr of one of the first attempts of independence from the colonial Portuguese power. Exceptionally preserved thanks to the decades of long isolation, the Baroque architectural ensemble of Tiradentes gathers many jewels that attract tourists from everywhere.

Aiuruoca is a small town of Minas Gerais founded in 1706 by gold seekers. In the 1920s, Danish immigrants in rural parts of Aiuruoca laid the foundation for the production of the Brazilian cheese “queijo prato” which remains a tradition at the area, alongside with olive oil. This charming little town is surrounded by the lush green mountains and valleys of Serra do Papagaio State Park. A 20 km drive on dirty road will allow us to visit the peaceful community of Matutu Valley where we can take a permaculture/organic agriculture workshop or just hike and enjoy the local waterfalls of this hidden paradise!
